Veyra Security Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 17, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Veyra Security collects, uses, and stores information when added to a Discord server. By inviting and using Veyra Security on your Server, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. What Information Do We Collect?
In order to function properly, the Bot needs to collect and store certain data. The information is classified as follows:
a) Server Information
- Server ID: To associate specific settings and data with each server.
- Server Settings: We store the settings that administrators set for security modules (Anti-Nuke, Anti-Raid, Anti-Spam, Anti-Link, Verification), such as log channels, detection thresholds, and actions to be taken.
- Channel and Role IDs: We save the IDs of channels (e.g., log channel) and roles (e.g., verified role) according to the administrator's configuration.
b) User Information
- User ID: Unique identifier for recording actions, violations, and for systems such as whitelists or trusted administrators.
- Username: Temporarily stored in the Anti-Raid system to analyze suspicious naming patterns during a possible raid.
- Violations and Spam Points: We keep a record of a user's spam violations for the progressive punishment system.
c) Message Content and Metadata
- Message Content: The Bot temporarily stores message content in a cache to analyze spam (duplicate messages, repeated characters, etc.). This cache is automatically cleared every few minutes and messages are not stored long-term.
- Message Metadata: Message IDs for management and deletion.
d) Server Structural Data
- Channel and Role Information: For the backup and restore functionality of the Anti-Nuke system, the Bot creates backups containing the structure, names, permissions, and configurations of the Server's channels and roles.
2. Why Do We Collect This Information?
Data collection is strictly functional and essential for the Bot's security features:
- For Identification and Configuration: Server, channel, role, and user IDs are necessary for configurations to be applied correctly and to identify actors in security events.
- To Detect Threats (Anti-Spam/Anti-Link): Analyzing message content is crucial for detecting spam, flooding, malicious links, and other unwanted content.
- To Prevent Raids (Anti-Raid): We analyze information about new members (such as account age and username) to calculate a risk score and stop waves of malicious accounts.
- To Protect Against Nukes (Anti-Nuke): The bot monitors administrative actions (channel deletion, mass bans) to detect and stop destructive attacks. Backups of the server structure allow it to be restored after an attack.
- To Verify Users: The verification system uses user IDs to manage verification status and assign corresponding roles.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: All collected data is stored in an SQLite database (`veyra.db`) located on the same server where the Bot runs.
- We Do Not Share Your Data: We will never share, sell, or distribute your data to third parties. Access to the database is restricted to the Bot owner for maintenance and support.
- Data Retention:
- The message cache is automatically cleared every 5 minutes.
- Security logs and user violations are retained while the Bot remains on the server to maintain a moderation history.
- Server backups are managed automatically, keeping only the 5 most recent ones to save space.
- Data Deletion: When the Bot is removed from a Server, all data associated with that Server (settings, logs, violations, backups) is deleted within 30 days.
4. Your Rights
As a user or administrator of a server, you have the right to:
- Request your Data: You can request a copy of the data that the Bot has stored about you or your server.
- Request Data Deletion: You can request the deletion of your personal data or your server data.
To exercise these rights, please contact us through our support server.
5. Contact
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your rights, please join our Discord Support Server: `https://discord.gg/d6RC9w67Xa` or contact the bot owner.
6. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via an announcement channel on our support server.
